The Volunteer Lawyer Program of Southwestern Indiana (VLP) is a regional office of Pro Bono Indiana, Inc.
Pro Bono Indiana (PBI) is a statewide legal service provider that coordinates attorney and paralegal pro bono efforts in Indiana. PBI provides services in most areas of civil law to income eligible residents who do not have assets sufficient to hire a private attorney.

VLP oversees services in the following Indiana Counties: Daviess, Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Martin, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh, and Warrick.
PBI's mission is to provide meaningful access to justice through the help of volunteer attorneys and paralegals.
Funding is provided by by individual attorneys and paralegals, the Evansville Bar Association, the John Sanders Memorial Evansville Bar Foundation, the Indiana Bar Foundation, as well as corporate gifts and foundation grants.
We provide legal volunteer opportunities of all sorts, volunteer assistance, and malpractice insurance coverage.
